SmallTune

I just wanted to inform you, that there will be no new version until February 2010. As already stated before, I've some exams to manage (whish me luck!), so I've to focus on this.

Of course, you can still contribute to the project. Either by translating SmallTune into your language, or by pariticipating in the current poll.

P.S.: Security issues will be fixed immediately.

SmallTune needs you. ;)

If you are firm with English, but your native language is danish, french or anything else, and you would like to contribute to SmallTune, please, take a look at the translations.

I'm proud to announce that SmallTune hast entered the Top1000 of the heise.de Download Charts. The heise repro hast about 26,000 programs, so, yes, this is quite a success. :)

I'm very proud to announce that version 0.3.0 has been released. A lot of improvements made it into this version, e.g. better URL-Management, Hotkeys, better playlist handling and even more.

Go, grab your copy! And, like always, don't forget the changelog. ;)

version 0.3.0 is almost ready to roll. Major changes include hotkeys, internet streams management and - drag and drop, as a result from the voting. Playlists cannot be imported yet, I'll see if I'll add this feature as a "last minute change". ;) You can expect 0.3.0 to be released this month.

After releasing 0.3.0, only bugfixes will be applied until the new year. I have to take some exams in January 2010, so don't expect a 0.4.0 on before March 2010.

Now, why I wrote this post: I have changed the license of SmallTune from GPL to MPL. The main reason is that I'm using the BASS library, which doesn't apply to the terms and conditions of the GPL. If you are a regular user of SmallTune, nothing will change for you. ;)

P.S.: SmallTune spricht jetzt auch deutsch. ;)
